More paid time off

FROM 1 OCTOBER freelances working shifts are entitled to more paid time off - colloquially "holiday pay". You should now be paid pro rata for 24 days off a year, up from 20. Note that paid time off is part of EU Health and Safety legislation, to stop you working yourself into the ground. So you're supposed actually to take the time off! Anyone working fairly regular shifts is entitled to paid time off. Being on PAYE is not a requirement: you just have to be "a worker", paid by the day rather than the word or the picture.
