National Photography Symposium 12-14 June

THE SIXTH National Photography Symposium, an event organised by Redeye, the Photography Network, is on 12-14 June at the Library of Birmingham, Centenary Square, Broad Street, Birmingham, B1 2ND.

The focus for this year's event is integrity in photography. Discussions include:

  • What's on offer for students and emerging artists to help establish themselves in photography;
  • New finance and business strategies for cultural organisations;
  • The successful and resilient arts and photography organisation;
  • The successful and resilient arts and photography organisation;
  • New Business Models for Photographers; and
  • Licensing without Tears (licensing in the digital economy.)

Day tickets for non-members of Redeye are £50, £80 for the whole three days, with concessions for students and unwaged. Details are here.

LFB members who've been to previous Redeye events have described them as "very union-minded and "NUJ-friendly... run largely by NUJ members."
