A meeting for photographers and videographers
THE NUJ is holding a zoom meeting for photographers and videographers, to update you on the work we have been doing on your behalf and to listen to your views and ideas for how we face this crisis and shape the future.
The meeting will take place on Wednesday 10 June from 5pm to 6:30pm.
To register to take part please contact the Freelance Office, with your membership number if possible: email email@example.com. Nearer the date you will then be sent an invitation and password. If you don't have Zoom installed or the updated version (since end of May), go to www.zoom.us to install it.
The event will include updates on:
- Lobbying the UK Treasury/DCMS/employers to represent members;
- Discussions with the National Police Chiefs Council/Met Police/Security Industry Authority;
- Developments within newspapers in relation to staff photographers and freelance shifts and rates;
- Premier League developments.
This will be followed by a discussion with members on issues you are dealing with and ideas for the future, including training/skills needs.
The meeting is also an opportunity for members to meet our officials, members of the NUJ Photographers' Council and to inform the campaigning work we do on your behalf.
We look forward to joining you there.
