Changes to Public Lending Right

YOU NOW NEED to open a British Library online account to access your PLR account.

Book authors, illustrators and translators are also entitled to payments for lending of their work by libraries. UK law says you are entitled to Public Lending Right payments because you are the author - even if you have been pressed to sign away copyright.

You need to register in order to receive your annual payments.

(The system was down for maintenance when we last edited this, so apologies if we missed any changes.)
