New members gather - probably in person
THERE'S A meeting for members new to London Freelance Branch - whether new to the NUJ or new to freelancing - on Thursday 28 July at - provisionally - 6pm.
The organisers hope this will be a face-to-face meeting. Keep checking back at this page for details of the meeting’s Central London venue and confirmation of its start time and format.
An invitation will be emailed to members who have recently joined the Branch. This will include Zoom passwords if the meeting has to take place online instead.
These meetings are a chance to get acquainted with other new members and to meet members of the LFB Committee, including some more experienced freelance journalists who can offer advice. They're always on the last Thursday of every third month.
We also welcome NUJ members who missed the invitation or, by all means, joined before then, or simply have a query with which the freelances assembled onscreen may be able to help. Anyone who wants to come should email membership secretary Phil Sutcliffe at email@example.com and he'll respond in due course with the Zoom link.
